Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy with one of the most modern sports infrastructures in Europe is the ideal destination to play tennis.

Are you planning tennis vacation? We look forward to your visit and assist you with your sporting plans.

We have 12 hybrid clay (sand) 9 acrylic (hard) and 4 padel tennis courts.

CAMPS

Whether you come for a vacation camp with your club or for a season preparation with your team, we are at your disposal with all our knowledge and experience.

We offer training camps for club players, club teams, young tennis talents, and of course active tournament players.

  Groups can arrive with their own coaches and use our facility for their camp,

If they need coaches to complement their coaching team, we will of course provide one or more from our team.

TRAINING

We help you to recognize your game and use it properly. The training is adequately tailored to the player, so that the individuality of the player is preserved and his full potential is realized, we learn to work hard, to deal with stress and to strengthen the emotional and physical balance. 

With us you will learn to actively shape your game, anticipate early and react correctly, we will show you how to properly apply game strategies and increase your physical and mental strength, we will help you reach your full potential, gain confidence and self-esteem on the court and improve your overall performance as a tennis player.

We offer 30 years of coaching experience in professional tennis and a team of top coaches, you will receive dynamic high performance tennis training, our team will get the most out of your skills, we will improve your technique, show you how to play more efficiently and give you a professional game orientation.

BASIC TRAINING

In this training we aim at a high quality and development of the tennis technique, weak points are trained out. In this way we prevent mistakes that cannot be compensated later on, or can be compensated only with difficulty, from occurring in the first place.

We train the missing positions within your body movement, and make the necessary basic mechanical corrections, something that will enable you to use your acquired technique more efficiently.

ADVANCE TRAINING

Learning basic tennis techniques, training all motor skills with emphasis on clean movement skills, footwork, feel for the ball, coordination, timing. Reaction speed and stroke frequency will develop.

The player's character and skills are taken into account in the basic training and the player gets his individual and personal game orientation.

PRO TRAINING

Perfecting situational technique is complete and training is strongly oriented to each player's individuality.

We promote efficient ball striking, with consistency, control, direction, spin and power.

We combine teaching technique with tactics, so we learn to use our strengths more effectively in basic game situations.

We would like to introduce ourselves briefly

My name is George Ploumis. For more than 30 years I have been coaching tennis players,  from young talents to tennis professionals ( WTA, ATP, ITF, Club and League players). This long experience I provide to the daily training operation.

Mara, Pjotr, Alex, Nikos, and me, are looking forward to welcome you and support you with all our tennis know-how in order to achieve your goals.

LOCATION

The Academy is located approx. 20 km from the airport of "Heraklion", with an arrival time of less than 25 minutes.
HERAKLION

 Driving 25 km west from Hersonissos, you will find the capital of the island, Heraklion. This modern city combines museums, Venetian and ancient monuments, a beautiful market and small squares full of cafes and restaurants. The Venetian fortress of Koules shapes the port of Heraklion with its presence. For guests who wish to visit the largest ancient palace of the Minoan era, Knossos of King Minos is just a short drive or bus ride from the city center
HERSONISSOS

Hersonnisos is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Crete. Countless cafes, stores and restaurants create a unique cosmopolitan mosaic! In the evening the center turns into a lively and vibrant town. The old village of Hersonissos as well as the villages of Koutouloufari and Episkopiano offer panoramic views over the port of Hersonissos. The hotel is located only 2.5 km from the center of Hersonissos.
